Daughter in a USNavy Reserve family. Well travelled. Early roots in a small farming town turned to steel and rubber maufacturing during the war. Excited, successful, "hands on" type of learning activities Teacher since 1964 in various cities in California.

Love students and teaching!

Married, mother of daughter 22, sons, 20,19,17. Youngest son has Down Syndrome so I took a quality job that does not require homework. As Director of Family Services for Parca I continue the tradition started by the parents fifty years ago who refused to institutionalize their children with disabilities. I am an advocate in and out of the educational system for students and adults with special needs in the areas of assistive technology, recreation, socialization, health and housing.....

Began riding horses on the hills and ocean in Pacifica in l972, moved here in l990. Hooray!

Hobbies:
Attentiveness to studies on entrepreneurship, business and financial factors in the local and global economies.
Science in general, environmental, genome and neurophsyiology research in particular. I do have a hard time reading fiction.
