Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Jack Scarbrough

Candidate for
Harbor Commissioner; Port San Luis Harbor District

This information is provided by the candidate

I support commercial fishing as an important harbor industry. Although I do feel there is too much government interference and incomplete data related to the ground fish situation. The money for research and remediation of a declining fishery is and has been at hand if it were made a priority.

I am committed to keeping Port San Luis a viable harbor with commerical and recreational fishing. I am in support of all areas that will ensure coastal access to provide a variety of recreational activities such as kayaking, canoeing, scuba diving, swimming or just enjoying our safe beaches.

I have not missed a commission meeting once during my four year term of office. I will continue to attend and monitor all meetings that affect the Harbor District. I bring honesty, integrity and conscientious representation. It has been a privilege to serve you as a Harbor Commissioner. This is a privilege which I take very serious. I am proud to be associated with Port San Luis Harbor. We have a great group of hard working, dedicated employees whom I support and thank for keeping up the good work.

With my experience, I am an excellent candidate for Harbor Commission. Thank you for your vote of confidence in the past and I hope you'll cast your vote my way on November 7th.

We appeciate your comments and concerns. Please feel free to visit us or contact me at any time.
