Statement of Purpose

By Gerald H. Gray

Candidate for Director; Cambria Community Services District

This information is provided by the candidate
Long time resident of Cambria. Move toward solving long term water needs. Make decisions based on my experience.
As a 27 year resident and business owner in Cambria I have witnessed the actions of many previous boards. Over six million dollars has been spent studying various water projects without any solutions.

We are now in the process of approving an emergency water project which may provide partial relief from historic shortages. Our rights to the San Simeon and Santa Rosa Creek sources are nearing depletion. A fire or other emergency would seriously effect the environmental and economic health of the Community. We must act diligently, expediently, and economically to solve these problems with common purpose and witout rancor.

I will listen and make decisions bases on my experience in community and government service, doing so remembering my dedication to honesty and fairness.

There are those among us driven by an agenda striving to assure that no water project should ever be approved for any reason. I strongly oppose this greedy position.

Please support my candidacy and I will represent you responsibly as a director of the Cambrria C. S. D.
