Volunteered for the draft after graduation from High School and served 2 years in the US Army, one year as infantry in the First Cavalry Division, Viet Nam. Army Commendation Medal received for my Viet Nam service.

Married my college sweetheart (Janice) in 1968. Married 32 years.

Janice and I used the GI bill and worked our way through Cuesta Jr College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Wifes Occupation: School Teacher

Two daughters, Judean a school teacher and Julie a biologist and new Mom.

5 years as accountant/auditor for the County of San Luis Obispo.

3 years as accountant/controller for Estrella River Winery and Estrella River Vineyard.

20 years as President and CEO of North County Tax.
