As a councilman he is:
· Recognized for analysis and clarity
· Accessible to individual citizens and their concerns
· Recognized for integrity in net working with area governmental agencies, developers and city staff
· Director, San Joaquin Partnership, a public-private corporation active in bringing hundreds of new jobs to Lathrop

When elected, he pledges:
· To seek a reliable source of surface water for present needs and future growth
· To see that development contributes to Lathrop's quality of life by following our General Plan and paying its own way
· To continue strengthening public safety through education, police officers, railroad over-crossing and street maintenance
· To help develop a business environment so companies offering "head of household" jobs will locate here
· To seek the best for each citizen, present and future, by keeping the playing field of opportunity level

He is qualified by education and experience:
· Bachelor and Master degrees in American history and government
· Six years on Planning Commission, Anderson CA
· Five years on Lathrop City Council
· Vice- chair, San Joaquin County Solid Waste Task Force Advisory Commission
· Director, two terms, San Joaquin Partnership
