I feel the City needs to look ahead in it's planning. We have very few spaces for development. We have to plan very carefully to see where our open spaces will be, where our light industrial and job bases will be, where are our residential areas going to be. You can only build Oceanside out once and we have to make sure that we don't make any mistakes.

A councilman must listen to both sides of an issue and reach a common ground. I know I can't make everyone happy but at least I can try. We must work towards a consensus. Draw out the pros and cons of a project or an issue, and then come to an agreement.

For more information on where I stand on the issues you can call or e-mail me.
