Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Maria "Mercy" Graef

Candidate for
City Council; City of La Mesa

This information is provided by the candidate

Your voice will NOT get lost in the "Greater Good" of government.

Agencies, organizations, and the city have representatives to make their voices heard. The first duty of a council member is to listen to the residents and represent their views. This means council members must be accssible through phone (463-5255), email (mercygraef@hotmail.com), face-to-face meetings and public forums. I WILL BE ACCESSIBLE; your voice will not be lost.

Too often when we approach government with a problem we are told, "sorry, nothing can be done". This is not acceptable! Government should work for ways to solve its citizens' problems.

My pledge to you is this:
YOUR MONEY will be wisely spent.
YOUR CITY'S unique character will be protected.
YOUR VOICE will be heard and will make a difference.
MY CAPABILITIES will be devoted FULL TIME to your needs.
