As a father, former small business owner, and daily I-15 commuter, I share your concerns. I am earning the support of voters without masquerading my positions or making shallow promises. I bring a balanced approach that considers both district needs and city-wide/ regional demands - without special interest or strings attached.

My "Traffic Plan" puts common sense public policy ahead of politics as usual and preserves our quality of life. I offer solid experience, a record of accountability and a broader vision for our city's future.

Traffic: My comprehensive Traffic Plan (available at http://www.cleary4council.com) addresses short-term and long-term transportation needs. By expanding freeway capacity and working towards a better mass transit system for the I-15 corridor, we can literally move forward again.

Budget: We need a standing Budget Committee to oversee the city's fiscal integrity. My experience with the Select Committee on Government Efficiency & Fiscal Reform has provided me with greater insight into business-like ways to reform the bureaucracy.

Infrastructure: The city's $135 million backlog in deferred maintenance is a civic embarrassment. Attention should be refocused on necessary public services we expect from our city government, such as improving our branch library system and providing more ballfields.
