Economic Development

I support economic development in the City of La Mesa that will improve the quality of life in our community. The residents of La Mesa rely on their Councilmembers to maintain a balance between residential, commercial and industrial uses. I am committed to maintaining that balance.

· Ensure that as the City looks at methods to meet the needs of an increasing population, solutions are developed that will retain the character of the La Mesa community

· Look at ways to attract new businesses that will enhance our community

· Support activities which increase the customer base for our existing businesses

· Work with surrounding cities and the County to seek ways to maintain and improve the economy of our City and region
