Family

I have been married for 13 years to my supportive wife Kathryn and have two daughters, Sarah (sixth grade) and Rachel (second grade).

Personal Background

I have been a resident of Mountain View for the past 40 years and am a graduate of Bubb Elementary School, Graham Junior High, and Awalt High School.

I appreciate the richness and diversity of the community our school system represents.

School Volunteer

I have served two years on the site council at Bubb Elementary school. During this time the site council was instrumental in Bubb Elementary applying for and receiving recognition as a California Distinguished School. I understand some of the legislative constraints placed on our schools. I have experience with budgeting and school finance issues.

I am an active parent and participate fully in the education of my daughters.
