My only promise to the Milpitas Community is that I will always be honest and always tell you the truth. Our children will always come first in all my decisions!
As I promised at the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce Forum on October 18, 2000, I will always tell you the truth.

As the trustee of the children of our community, I believe that being honest, truthful and forthcoming are the qualities that you expect from your elected officials. You have entrusted me with the education of all the children of this community.

My campaign financial reports are available upon request at the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters. I have complied with all of the laws of the State of California. When I filed to run for the Milpitas School Board, I presented the Registrar with my personal check in the amount of $400.00. This was commitment to all of you.

All of my financial records have been filed on time and as required by law. Upon receiving the documents from the School District, I took the time to read what the filing requirements were, when and what reports needed to be filed.

It was my obligation as a candidate to be informed and honest. Whenever I commit to a project, I follow through completely. Prior to our school board meetings, I review fully the documents and information provided. I do not depend on others to ensure that I have read the agenda items or documentation for a board meeting! I do not depend on others to research items on the agenda! I do not ask anyone how I should vote on an agenda item prior to hearing the item at a board meeting! First, I listen to the input of my fellow board members and interested citizens prior to making a decision!

I believe that is what you expect of your "trustee".

In the 17 years that I have been actively running for public office in Milpitas, the campaigns of school board candidates have always been upfront and above board. The year 2000 is an exception.

Documentation is available at the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters to validate this exception. For our children, I hope that the citizens of Milpitas will not have to endure such dishonesty again.

Thank you for believing in public education in Milpitas. Please take the time to review the facts. Please feel free to contact me for any additional information at (408) 263-9034.
