Let me take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Milpitas for their support and encouragement over the years. It has been my pleasure to serve as your Trustee. I also want to thank my family and many friends who have worked hard on my behalf over the past several months. Thank you! The following provides additional information about myself.

Althea Polanski has been a Milpitas resident for 24 years. Her two children, Charles Martin (Marty) and Nicole Ann attended Milpitas public schools and both graduated from Milpitas High School. Marty is a graduate of UCLA and Nicole is currently attending Sonoma State University. Althea has been an active member of the Milpitas community since moving here in 1976.

Althea Polanski has a long history of community involvement and service. Accountability, achievement and success for every child attending Milpitas schools continutes to be Althea's highest priority. Ms. Polanski believes that we are all life-long learners.

  • Appointed to City of Milpitas Subcommittee for School District Mitigation (Developer Fees), Vice Chairperson, 1996
  • Appointed to City of Milpitas Community Committee to Interview City Attorney Applicants, 1993
