My political philosophy is simple - "Kids First". I do not view the job as School Board Trustee as simply a political position, but an educational one. My job is to ensure that our district keeps a steady path toward academic success for all students.

  • I am committed to the hiring and retention of quality staff, from teachers to administrators, from secretaries to maintenance workers.

  • I will ensure that we continue to develop content standards that meet/or exceed state standards and analyze our testing data to best decide where we can improve programs for our students.

  • I feel it's important that we should continue to keep our community informed and continue to encourage participation by parents, families and community members at all levels in the schools and district.

  • I will work to build and foster business and community partnerships with the school district. These relationships can help our district through mentoring programs, off campus learning experiences and school to career programs.
