Married 20 years to Karen. Two children: Natalie (16) and Ryan (12. Lived in Santa Maria since 1983 (17 years.

Retired U.S. Air Force Officer (20 1/2 years: · Launch Controller and Launch Manager of Titan Satellite Programs; participated and managed aspects of 17 Titan launches. · Managed Clementine program - first West Coast launch to the Moon. · Awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Accommodation Medal (2), Air Force Achievement Medal (5), Air Force Good Conduct Medal (3). · Award for rendering first aid to a fallen bicyclist found on the side of the road; nominated for 1988 President's Volunteer Action Award.

Program Manager for Commercial Space Companies: · US Space Standards development. · Spaceport development.

Teacher of Space Operations courses at Allan Hancock College.

President, California Space, Incorporated - a non-profit organization focused on developing space education and entertainment for the public: · Managed four California Spaceweek programs. · Established California Space Rocket Science Club for kids.

Committee Lead of Livable Communities Consensus Project - a citizens group focused on developing a vision for Santa Maria and the Santa Maria Valley.
