  • I currently serve on the Sacramento City Planning Commission and the Sacramento County Civil Service Commission.
  • I also serve on the Advisory Committee of Senior Gleaners.
  • My involvement in our community spans more than 20 years.
  • I've served on the Stanford Settlement, Sacramento Association for the Retarded, Woodlake Improvement Club, and Camellia Orchestra as a Board Director
  • My understanding of planning issues makes me a strong advocate for redevelopment, neighborhood revitalization, and improved jobs.
  • I have lived in my Woodlake neighborhood with my husband Ted for 18 years.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • My top priority will be a vital economy -- ensuring that new jobs provide decent wages and good benefits for working families.
  • I propose placing police officers in schools to build relationships with kids. It will stop youth problems before they start.
  • As Sacramento City Planning Commissioner, I will encourage infill development and projects so people can work close to home.
