District Must Make Sure Garden Grove Students Don't Get Shortchanged Under the New President
As we listen to Mr. Bush and Mr. Gore, it is satisfying to notice that they are both making a strong committment to more funding for our schools. The District must be ready for this, whoever wins the Presidency.

We must make sure that School District administrators and grant writers are ready to make good applications at the earliest date. If we don't, other districts will, and Garden Grove students will be shortchanged.

If we aren't ready, other schools will get the books, computers and classroom supplies we need. If we aren't ready, other districts will get the new schools and Garden Grove won't. Funding is also the key to lowering class sizes.

Garden Grove has to be ready. I am committed to leadership on this critical issue.
