Accountabilty

By Michael H. Simons

Candidate for Governing Board Member; Huntington Beach Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
What is the most important issue facing the Huntingon Beach Union High School District?
The most important issue we face is accountability to our students, their parents and the community. The District must continue to enable our students to become capable, independent thinkers who are able to become successful adults. We must also prepare them to pass the new High School Exit Exam while continuing our above average SAT and AP scores. We must continue to assure the students' parents of a safe and secure learning enviornment with all the tools necessary for success. We must demonstrate to the community that we will make prudent fiscal decisions that will maintain financial stability.
