Four years ago the voters of Midway City and Westminster elected me to bring new leadership to the Midway City Sanitary District Board of Directors. I have always worked hard to make sure your fees for trash and sewer service were not increased. As a result, your fees are still the lowest in Orange County.

The District is debt free. We have sufficient designated reserves to replace trucks and other equipment when required. I have pledged when ever there is surplus it should be used to reduce the existing fees.

Through efficient management, you now have these additional services free: bulky item pickup( refrigerators, washers, hot water tanks, mattresses, etc); annual Christmas tree pikup; special trash pickup for the elderly and physicall impaired.

I have supported an aggressive solid waste recycling program so that the City of Westminster and Midway City could achieve their State mandated 50% reductions and avoid heavy fines.

With your vote of confidence, I will continue to work to keep your srvices up and your fees down.
