MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY DIRECTOR, DIVISION 2

WANDA LEYES

OCCUPATION: Orange County Housing Commissioner

I respectfully request your vote for Wanda Leyes as Director of Municipal Water District of Orange County. With your support, I will fight to maintain affordable, high-quality water supplies for our homes, schools and businesses.

As homeowners in Garden Grove, my husband and I have deep family roots in Orange County. I know how important healthy water is for raising our families.

I am a local businesswoman with a degree in management. Having worked in high-tech manufacturing, I know how critical water reliability is to creating high-paying jobs in Orange County.

As a community activist, I believe that taxpayers expect and deserve efficient and accountable local government. I will work to cut bureaucracy and keep the cost of water low. I will pass those savings on to you.

I am active in Orange County charities and involved in many community groups. As an Orange County Housing Commissioner, I have worked to maintain property values, develop Senior housing, and direct federal grants to water projects in our communities.

Feel free to contact me at home if you have any questions at (714) 534-3449, or my e-mail: sandsleyes@aol.com.

Please vote for Wanda Leyes for Director, Municipal Water District of Orange County. Again, thank you for your support.
