I am an Orange County local having moved from Philadelphia to a home in the Orangewood/Euclid area in 1977 when I was ten years old. I attended Loara High School in Anaheim, and, upon graduation, was the first student ever awarded the Principal's Award, an award created to recognize the most oustanding member the senior class for academic achievement, school involvement, and community service.

After graduating Loara, I attended UCLA and received a degree in Communication Studies in 1989, with the distinction of cum laude. I was also selected for the honorary fraternity of Phi Beta Kappa.

Immediately after graudating UCLA, I began law school at USC where I graduated with my J.D. in 1992.

From 1994 to the present, I have been in the private practice of law in Fountain Valley, concentrating in the areas of estate planning and business litigation.

I have been married to my wife, Yvette, for three and a half years, and we are the proud parents of a six month old girl.

My wife is an elementary school teacher, (having taught in Garden Grove as a long term substitute before teaching in Anaheim) and my mother-in-law has been teaching in the Garden Grove School District for nearly thirty years. I have a congenial relationship with Dr. Laura Schwalm, the superintendent of the Garden Grove School District, and I know many promienant players in the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce, the Garden Grove Community Foundation, and the Garden Grove Education Association.

In addition to being an attorney, I have served the congregation of Temple Beth Emet as their cantor since 1994.
