John V. Fonley 28,353 votes 47.4%
  • Occupation: Director, Orange County Water District
  • 25 years on the Orange County Water District
  • Kept costs down. Groundwater is 1/3 the cost of imported water
  • Helped to exceed state and national water safety regulations
  • Increased groundwater supply
  • Increased safety of the water basin
  • Provided additional reclaimed water for lanscaping needs
Priorities:
  • Will work to keep costs down for average homeowner
  • Will continue to research new cost saving methods of water treatment and testing
  • Has provided 600 acres of wetland to remove contaminants from Santa Ana River
