  • I am a longtime Santa Monia resident and have been a peace activist for more than 20 years.
  • I live in the Ocean Park area of Santa Monica with my wife Marissa and our two cats Max and Muffin.
  • I am a longtime advocate of maximum public participation and mediative "win-win" solutions.
  • I am a supporter of affordable housing and shopping; rent control; a clean environment; the arts; and more community input.
  • I am a strong advocate for our youth and seniors as well as people with disabilities.
  • I am a strong opposer of fighting, blaming and fingerpointing. I'm a resident-friendly, "get it done" kind of guy.

Top Priorities if Elected
  • My first order of business if elected (or even if not) is to call for a Santa Monica City "Summit Meeting."
  • I will work diligently to protect renters and to issue more affordable housing and shopping in Santa Monica.
  • I will fully support our seniors and people with disabilities and promote our artists and social service agencies.
