Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Chuck Allord

Candidate for
Member of the City Council; City of Santa Monica

This information is provided by the candidate

  • Parking: A perpectual problem in the City
  • We should assess the root of the problem, rather than creating layers of temporary fix regiments to divert and put off a permanent solution.

  • Are they homeless or vagrants?
  • Having a compassionate heart is a gift, but extending help beyond one's means is cruel and unreasonable behavior. The City's current policy towards homeless will never solve the problem for the homeless population nor the resident's need.

  • Traffic: Let it flow
  • Increasing traffic volume is a sign of growth in our city. We should lighten the growing pains and divert traffic stress upon the city - not stopping it.
