  • Make county government more responsive to citizens' needs by DOING THE RIGHT THINGS (effectivness) and DOING THINGS RIGHT (efficiency)
  • Protect our resource-based industries; restore waterflows to the Eel and Trinity Rivers; improve our roads and bridges, and rail and air service
  • Work for economic diversification by supporting development of new jobs in technology, light manufacturing, tourism
