Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Placerville

I was born in La Grande Oregon in 1976. I moved to El Dorado County when I was three years old. I attended, Charles Brown, Herbert Green, Ponderosa High, and finally graduated El Dorado High. I went to the El Dorado Center of Consumnes river college for two years and received a Associates degree in general Education. I am currently finishing up my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Sacramento State. I hope to go back to school next semester and begin a teaching credential program. I feel that the best rewarding job is teaching. There are so many ways that teachers affect their students. I have been blessed with great teachers from the time I was in Kindergarten. I feel that our Local community college is doing a wonderful job.

I have worked in many professions and currently I am starting an Ozone distribution company. I have worked in Development for five years, and I ran the Land Acquisition department of CBM group Inc. which brought the city of Placerville Carson Ridge Apartments 1 and 2, Placer Village Apartments, Tunnel Street Apartment (Senior), Cottonwood Park Apartments, and Cottonwood Senior Apartments (Senior).

Last semester I worked for Stanford Home for Children as a Child Care Councilor. I felt that this job was close to where I would like to see myself in the future but unfortunately I had to quit because of my responsibilities to my new business.

Currently I play on a softball team through Placerville Park and Rec. I enjoy pretty much all sports and especially football. I love to travel. I have been to many places across the globe and honestly the prettiest place in the world is Banff, Canada. I have been to Nepal, India, Singapore, Egypt, Israel, Greece, Turkey, and many Western European Nations. Traveling lets me see how others live and I know that being born in raised in America makes me very fortunate.
