April Treece believes in the 4 R's for the New Century: Responsibility, Respect, Reform...Results!

To have well-educated students prepared for college and careers, we need an additional set of Three R's -- Reform, Responsibility and Respect which aim to produce a fourth R: RESULTS!

Parents must take responsibility and become more involved and promote the value of education with their children at home.

Students must be responsible for their own behavior, and stay away from gangs, drugs and violence.

Communities and businesses must take responsibility and develop outreach programs to give students real-world skills.

Teachers must maintain high standards of practice, and the community must respect and value their contributions, for educational excellence begins and ends with good teaching.

The community must provide the resources necessary to assure that schools improve.

Joint responsibility and mutual respect can make reform happen and bring the RESULTS we need for Mt. Diablo school students.

April Treece and the teachers of Mt. Diablo are uniquely positioned to make this collaboration work.

Vote April Treece for Mt. Diablo School Board on November 7th!
