This district has done an excellent job of educating its children in a fiscally sound manner. I am committed to being a constructive board member who helps drive curriculum development to give our children exceptional preparation for their academic and vocational careers. At the same time, I will assure the board and the district focus on long-term financial, facilities and curriculum planning to meet the needs of a growing population, to recruit and retain the best teachers available, and to maintain and build the best facilities possible. Our children face an increasingly competitive environment. Our focus must be on preparing them to meet the challenges before them, while maintaining the fiscal credibility of this district.
