Fremont Needs Pauline Weaver

By Pauline A. Weaver

Candidate for For Member of City Council; City of Fremont

This information is provided by the candidate
Pauline Weaver is a Proven Community Leader
The Fremont City Council needs leadership that is responsive to the community. Fremont needs Pauline Weaver. Pauline is a proven community leader and has received numerous awards for her community service and charity work over the past twenty years. Pauline Weaver has worked to help the women of Fremont by serving on the board and as President of the Shelter Against Violent Environments (SAVE), a shelter for battered women and children. As a member and Chair of the Planning Commission, Pauline has fought for sensible policies and projects and to make housing more affordable and to prevent sprawl. Pauline Weaver supports Measure B to improve transportation in Fremont and extend BART to Warm Springs and San Jose. She knows we need to plan and manage our residential growth more carefully. Pauline will be an independent voice on the City Council, fighting for the families and children of Fremont for better schools, traffic improvements, more affordable housing, and protection of the Fremont hills. We know that Pauline Weaver will be able to accomplish all of this as a member of the City Council because she has proven herself as a community leader.
