Provide Health Services to the Eden Township Community

By Rajendra M Ratnesar

Candidate for Member, Board of Hospital Directors; Eden Township Hospital District

This information is provided by the candidate
There are areas in our community that have a population that are old and do not have health professionals in the region.
Having surveyed certain areas in the district, I have found a large number of elderly people who do not have a physicians office in the vicinity. In view of this, these people tend not to seek healthcare except in an emergency. They therefore lack preventive healthcare and are seen when their disease has progressed to a degree that cure becomes a difficulty. It is my hope that if we cannot find physicians to serve the community then we need to take healthcare to their doorsteps by way of a mobile healthcare unit. This can be achieved through the community funds for which the board is responsible.
