Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Linda A. Fernandes

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; New Haven Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate

I feel that my experience of 24 years on the board, serving currently as president, is critical to New Haven's new challenges which focus on preparing students for the future. I have worked tirelessly to ensure that the needs of all children are met. I possess many measureable and verifiable qualifications, however, most important is my experience and leadership. With a new Superintendent executing our very aggressive educational plan, my experience is required to lead and monitor every step of the way. I am confident that I can continue to make bold leadership decisions to make our goals a reality for every student.
