Assistant City Attorney, City of San Mateo, California (7/97 to 2/00): Advised the Planning Commission, Personnel Board, and when City Attorney was absent, acted as the City Attorney. Also advised on daily basis the Planning, Public Works, Finance,Personnel, and Information Services Departments.

Assistant City Attorney, City of Pleasanton, California (12/85 to June,1997): Draft contracts. Prepare pleadings. Negotiate real estate purchases. Advise city departments regarding powers and duties. Assume responsibilities of city attorney as needed. [Acting City Attorney 7/88 to 10/88.]
