Information shown below:

To provide safety and essential maintenance of school buildings and grounds, shall the Berkeley Unified School District be authorized to levy a special tax of 4.5c/square foot on residential buildings and
6.75c/square foot on commercial buildings, for a period of 12 years? Revenues will be used for maintaining school buildings and classrooms, roofs, boilers, restrooms, lighting, electrical systems, playgrounds and addressing fire and health safety hazards.
