Chuck Furmon began his tenure as a Butler County Commissioner in January 1997. In 1994 and 1995, he was Mayor of Hamilton, Ohio. Prior to that, he served with the Hamilton Police Department for 30 years, retiring in 1993 with the rank of Lieutenant/Commander. Raised in Hanover Township, Chuck is a lifelong resident of Butler County and a graduate of Talawanda High School, Oxford, Ohio.
