State government has grown out of control. We now have more bureaucrats, departments, laws, boards and commissions than ever before. David J. Neighbors believes our state government can do a more efficient job than it is currently doing, and we should reduce wasteful spending across the board. The fiscal system in California needs to be overhauled. The flow of money between state and local agencies has become too complex and lacks accountability. We need to restore property tax funding to counties and cities. |
