True improvements in our children's education will depend on re-investment and reinvigoration. David has two daughters, Brianna is in second grade at Toyon Elementary in the Berryessa Union School District and Sara Emily will start in Toyon's pre-school program next fall. David and his older brothers are all products of Toyon school. David believes we need to return to a strong academic curriculum that provides children with the opportunity to make their dreams come true. David wants to return to basic teaching methods that work such as phonics and traditional math standards. He believes class size reduction is good because it allows for better attention and safer environments for our children
