Highlights

Bob Lane was appointed by Governor Wilson as a Policy Advisor to California Public Utilty Commissioner Jessie Knight from 1993-1999. In that capacity he worked to bring comeptition, free markets and customer choice to the energy and telecommunications market. Prior to this appointment Bob served on the Staff of the CPUC. Since 1999, Bob has been a Sr. Policy Analyst in the Commissions Division of Strategic Planning.

Bob is active in Young Republican politics having served on the board of the California Young Republicans from 1991 to the present. He was Chairman of the California Young Republicans from 1997-1999. Bob currnetly serves on the Board of the Young Republican National Federation.

Bob and his wife, Tina Martinez-Lane, live in San Fancisco.
