Jim brings to Orange County eight years of legislative experience having previously served as a California State Assemblyman. Jim wants to stop the El Toro Airport. To reform campaign financing. Stop"Soft Money." To "Level the Field" so all are equal in the eyes of the law regardless of race, color, creed, national origin or sexual orientation. To keep the separation of church and State. To teach science in the schools and religion at church and in the home. To protect the environment but balance this with natural and necessary growth. To give women a choice. To protect Social Security. To provide and maintain the health of all Americans and at the the same time be fair to providers and patients. To reform the HMO's. To guarantee that prescriprtion drugs are available at a fair price. To seriously rethink our drug laws, including alcohol and tobacco, especially as they relate to underage. To protect the 2nd Ammendment but also to protect us from those who should not have the right to own guns. To have background checks and safety features for guns.
