Striving for Water Quality and Quantity
The Southern California Conservation League gives Tony Fellow the highest rating for his efforts in revolutionizing water politics in the San Gabriel Valley.

Fellow ignited water cleanup programs, established water conservation programs that have saved 30 percent in water consumption, established an award-winning reforestation program to preserve the Angeles National Forest and is building a new water resources for the Valley. He fought for El Monte residents to prevent the Rodeffer Pit from becoming a dumping ground.

As a water board director, he voted to spend funds to help the Hacienda Heights Homeowners Association's concerns about leakages at the Puente Hills Landfill.

In addition, we need to get California's traffic moving again. By 2005 Californians will waste around 450,000 hours a day in traffic.

Gridlock will cost the state's economy about $8 million a day in time and fuel.

We need to push for expanded transit and improved road and highway maintenance and champion a rail system on our major highways.
