We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

What a beautiful statement ... made over 224 years ago, but it still holds today, or does it?

As history has shown many times, we must be ever vigilant, for there are those who would take away those same "God Given Rights" in the name of Peace and Security!

I believe that the powers to govern are derived from the People, and nowhere else. And I intend to return those powers to the People of the 12Th Congressional District!

Now to my campaign objectives and my Position on the Issues:

  1. IMPROVE EDUCATION: First thing after I'm elected, I will throw the entire weight of my office behind the Teachers and Schools in my district. Second, I will work with the Teachers of each School to set up fund raising events, with the funds raised going right to that School! I will also work with the Schools to secure needed equipment.

  2. LOWER TAXES: Since I do not like paying higher taxes, I will not vote for higher Taxes without the consent of the Voters of the District! I will also work towards the elimination or reduction of other types of Taxation!

  3. FRIENDLIER OFFICE: Have you seen Congressman Tom Lantos's office? ... It looks and feels like a Police Station! You can not walk in and talk to the staff as in a "normal office", you have to speak through a 1/2 to 1 inch thick glass window!...this will be replaced with a "normal everyday" office that has a secretary or office person you can meet and talk to. As for the Staff ... they have forgotten that they work for you, the taxpayer! Accordingly, I will only hire people to run the office that will treat you, the taxpayer with Respect, not Arrogance!

  4. SAVE AMERICAN JOBS: One of the things that irk me the most is seeing "our" jobs leaving this country. I promise the American Worker that I will work to do everything I can to keep our jobs from leaving!

  5. SAVE SOCIAL SECURITY!: I will do everything in my power to save Social Security. No ifs, ands or buts!

  6. DEFEND & SUPPORT THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO "OUR" CONSTITUTION: What part of "The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." Do our politicians not understand? Did they not take an oath to "PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES?"

We must go after the Criminal that uses a Gun during the commission of a crime, not the Law Abiding Citizen who Collects Guns, Hunts or loves to Target Shoot.

This issue of trying to disarm the Law Abiding Citizen has far reaching consequences not only to men, but to those women who cary a concealed weapon for their own protection ... in some cases this is their only defence. Or, what of the woman that is home alone that is confronted with an intruder ... does she not have the right to defend her children or herself?

I promise you that I will be most vocal, and will defend "our" Second Amendment Right whenever and wherever I have to ...so help me God.

Where I stand on the Issues:

    ABORTION:
This is a Woman's Right! She is the only one that can make this decision in conjunction with her Conscience, her Husband and her Religion. I will also work with the other side to improve education in order to reduce Teen Pregnancy.

Working Women/Equal Pay for Equal Work:
I will fight to level the playing feild on this issue!

    PATIENTS BILL of RIGHTS:
This is a no brainer. I will support a Patients Bill of Rights!

    Racial Discrimination or Sexural Discrimination:
    I will tolerate neither!

    "Middle East Foreign Policy Statement"

I believe that the City of Jerusalem must be an "open" city, and should not be controlled only by the Israeli's.

I believe that the Sanctions imposed by the United Nations on the "Iraqi People" (not Saddam or his military) must be removed.

I believe that the United States must use an even hand in its dealings with the Palestinian People, Lebanese People, Syrian Peoples and the Israeli People ... before, during and after the Peace Process.

I strongly believe that the U.S. Embassy must not be moved to the City of Jerusalem until it has been declared an open city for all of the three major religions.

I believe that the process of Profiling (being used either against African Americans or Arab Americans) must end.

I believe that the policy of using "Secret Evidence" by the Immigration and Naturalization Service against Arab Americans must end now!

My idea of a political party includes total inclusion of all Races and Genders ... that is why I walked out of the recent Republican Convention held here in Burlingame. The majority voted to remove a proposal that would extend a strong Outreach to Hispanic and Latino Voters ( another no-brainer ), I will therefore extend my own hand to the Hispanic and Latino Voter in friendship.

My campaign is not focusing only on Republican's , but all voters ( Democrats included ) in the 12Th Congressional District. As your Representative, I have to listen to and represent "all" the voters, not just one segment.
