"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"

John F. Kennedy's Great Words. Now a Forgotten Ideal.

A few short years after John Kennedy uttered those famous words America began down a road that would fundamentally change the public's expectation of the role of government in private lives.

In the last 35 years we, as a people, have become complacent; we expect government to solve our everyday problems; we feel entitled to a particular standard of living; we blame our misfortunes in life on others; we have lost a sense of personal responsibility; and with respect to our collective feeling of debt to our nation, we stand as an embarrassment to the great generations who came before us and who laid down their lives to secure our liberty and freedom.

This is a Campaign about Big Ideas and a Vision of the Greatness that still lies ahead for our Remarkable Country

We all have our reasons for the things we do. My reason for seeking public office is embedded in my desire to make our country as good as it can be for our children. I have two young boys, and through their eyes I view our country as it is and as it can be with all the hope and promise of a great future for all Americans.
