LWV LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS
Alameda, Contra Costa County, CA March 7, 2000 Election
Smart Voter Additional Endorsements for Mark Billings

Candidate for
State Senator; District 7

This information is provided by the candidate

As a member of a 3rd party, I do not have access to the seemingly unlimited resources that the two-party strangle-hold have. Even so, I believe very strongly that our current system is corrupt due to the unwieldy influence of money. I therefore am NOT ACCEPTING ANY SPECIAL INTEREST DONATIONS or ANY donations for that matter.

This election should be based upon the merits of one's ideas, experience, and philosophies.

We need some new blood in Sacramento.
We need someone who can stand up to ANY special interest and is not beholden to any, except the local voters.
We need to implement scientific, proven, cost-effective solutions, and not wrangle over campaign contributions for re-election.

I am that candidate. I respectfully request your support. IT'S YOUR MONEY AT STAKE!
