Candidate for
Green Party County Council; County of San Mateo

I moved to San Mateo County in September of 1996, about the same time I became involved in the Green Party. I was elected to the County Council in June of 1998 and served as the recording secretary. I maintain the email list of activists and send out meeting notices (contact me at mcarley@socio.com to be added to this list--your privacy will be protected). I recruited two volunteers and put together our current web site (http://www.greens.org/california/sanmateo), one of the best in the state. I have worked on various other projects, including our county newsletter, also one of the best.
