Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Stephanie Jeong

Candidate for
Republican Central Committee; Assembly District 12

My political philosophy is government is not our parent. We should be taking care of ourselves and not depend upon the government. We should not be happy when the government gives us something back that was ours in the first place. I hope the following story illustrates the point: There was a man and a dog stranded on an island. No food is around so the man cut off the dog's tail and ate it. He gave what was left to the dog. The dog being grateful licked the man's hand. There is no such thing as a free lunch. When the government gives us something - be wary. The government has an ulterior motive.
