Pat Dando has strongly supported collaboration between the City and local schools, including Homework Centers, School Safety Teams, Safe School Routes, Teacher Housing Loans, Teacher Education Grants, and improved communication between the Planning Department and school districts to avoid school overcrowding.

Pat Dando has demanded that city finances be strictly managed to prevent new taxes. She twice voted against pay raises for the City Council. She also voted against higher taxes on your telephone and garbage service.
