Trena successfully represented clients from a variety of personal and business backgrounds, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, small and large business owners, large corporations, and public agencies in a variety of multi-million dollar cases.

Trena studied English and economics at Queens College, graduating summa cum laude. She then attended law school at the University of California at Davis, where she was managing editor of the Law Review. She frequently speaks on a variety of legal issues as a moderator, panelist and guest speaker for the Continuing Education of the Bar and other professional legal organizations.

Trena is an active community volunteer in Sacramento County, where she often serves as a Judge Pro Tem in local courts.
