EXPERIENCE:

SENIOR JUDICIAL ATTORNEY, California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Three, Chambers of Associate Justice William W. Bedsworth, 925 No. Spurgeon Street, Santa Ana,California. May 1997 to present. Duties include legal research and drafting opinions for the court, primarily in criminal cases.

SENIOR DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY for the County of Orange, Office of the District Attorney, 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, California, July 1985 to May 1997.

1. 12 years of service as an Orange County deputy district attorney.

2. As a trial prosecutor, achieved a 100% felony conviction rate.

3.As an appellate court specialist, successfully argued cases in California and federal courts which strengthened the position of law enforcement and victims' rights. (See, e.g., People v. Lopez (1989) 212 Cal.App.3d 289 [holding police requests for identification do not implicate the Fourth Amendment]; People v. 4. Served 2 years as a Deputy Attorney General representing all 58 district attorneys in complex civil/constitutional litigation in federal court in Sacramento.
