Born and raised in Los Angeles, David Stuart graduated with honors from Loyola Law School in the top 7% of his class. In 1993, he accepted a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Manuel L. Real, United States District Court Judge. Since then, Mr. Stuart has served as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

Tough Criminal Prosecutor

David Stuart has achieved outstanding success prosecuting criminal defendants in Municipal and Superior Court. He has won convictions in many jury trials against gang members and other defendants charged with crimes such as robbery, drug dealing, and murder.

Champion of Crime Victims

David Stuart is assigned to a special victims unit in the D.A.'s office that prosecutes cases involving sex crimes, child abuse, and domestic violence. He is the only candidate who deals with these especially vulnerable victims on a daily basis.

David Stuart is devoted to crime victims and their need to have a voice in the criminal justice system.

David Stuart has earned an outstanding reputation for being a prosecutor who is firm but fair. That's why his candidacy has been endorsed not only by judges, other prosecutors and police officers, but by defense attorneys as well.

David Stuart lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Joslyn, and their daughter, Allyson.
