There is nothing more important than feeling safe in our homes, our neighborhoods and schools. For 33 years I served as a Torrance Police Officer. I am committed to maintaining the highest quality police department, and a community that is safe for all.

Those of us privileged to live in Torrance enjoy an excellent quality of life. However, it takes more than talk to make a city great. Improving our city is something we can do together. I have the time and determination to be available to all residents of Torrance.

Change is inevitable. As a resident and active participant in our community for over 40 years, I have seen it first hand. As a council member I will strive to make sure growth brings positives to our city and not the negatives of congestion and noise.

This is a time for innovation. I am committed to Business partnerships, School partnerships, and Community Partnerships. Through new and improved partnerships, we can enhance services and government efficiency. We can work to improve support for our parks, cultural arts and libraries.

Knowing and protecting our past gives us guidance toward the future, not limitations. It is a future we can shape. We have the power to make Torrance even better than it is with the first Council of the 2000s.

As a Council Member, I will continue to serve our City with the same enthusiasm and dedication I have for the last 38 years.
