As the Vice President of Facility Development for Community Medical Centers, Bryn has earned a reputation as a no nonsense leader who gets the job done. From pushing through the City bureaucracy to working with health care planners and providers, Bryn knows how to make the hard decisions and tough choices necessary to be an effective City Councilmember.

Accountability

Growing up in a Fresno farming family, Bryn learned early on the values of hard work, integrity, personal responsibility and community service. These are the values Bryn lives by today. Those values will help ensure that Bryn remains accountable and answerable to District residents.

Results

Bryn Forhan has demonstrated that she has what it takes to get results. We can count on Bryn to make sure our neighborhoods get top-quality city services, while holding the line on tax or fee increases. On the City Council, Bryn will make sure that every tax dollar is spent wisely, and that the Council gets down to business.

A Strong Local Economy

Our small businesses are the backbone of our local economy. Bryn will help develop programs that support our local businesses thrive, not just survive. On the Council, Bryn will build on our agricultural foundation to create new jobs and business opportunities. Bryn Forhan will work to cut red tape and make city government more responsive efficient.

Safe Neighborhoods

Government's first priority is the safety of our children and families. While the overall crime rate has been reduced, we must keep up the pressure with a "zero tolerance" policy to rid our streets and schools of weapons, drugs and gangs. Bryn will also focus on prevention programs, after school activities, and opportunities for our youth to help keep our youth on the right track to begin with.

Conserving Our Tax Dollars

For years, the state has been raiding our local property tax money, putting a strain on our city's budget. Now, more than ever, we need to work hard to make sure our tax dollars are being used wisely. Bryn Forhan knows that every penny the city saves can be used to put more cops on the street and improve other, vital city services. Bryn will make sure we are getting the most out of our city budget.
