Smart Voter

Growth:

By Robert D. Colenzo

Candidate for Supervisor; County of El Dorado; District 1

This information is provided by the candidate
Slower, smarter. Lower density housing and larger lot sizes with more natural open space. Shift emphasis to economic growth to encourage more local high quality jobs.
Residential growth must be slowed down. The density of homes per acre must be reduced and larger lots must be encouraged. Open space must mean natural open space, not a mow strip. Econimic growth means bringing in high-tech, high quality companies to promote good jobs in our local economy. We need more variety and opportunites in our commercial districts as well. I feel that infrastructure including water must be in place before any major residential development is approved.
